The "White" is a Sauvignon Blanc 95% Semillon) with aromas of Meyer lemon and creamy meringue, melon with a sprinkle of spice, caramel and marzipan. The "Red" - A Meritage blend (60/22/18) of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc it presents bright red fruit and leather, crushed flowers and herbs with cedarbox notes. It is very stylish on the palate, medium to full-bodied with a fine grained texture and plenty of juicy fruit. Therapy Vineyards:
Pinot Noir 2008 - Medium bodied with soft tea like tannins, lots of fresh fruit with the likes of strawberries, raspberries and cherries. You may find hints of smokiness and an earthy complexity that will develop with age.
Chardonnay 2008 - Abundant with honey, almond nuttiness, apricots, and a pleasant spiciness. Layers of tropical fruit and green apple finish.
Merlot 2008 - Elements of leather, chocolate and an earthy undertone help make this wine one that can be consumed early or allows for some aging.
Out with the old - in with Young & Wyse. The new winery on the block, (but not the new kid). Winemaker Stephen Wyse, original winemaker at Burrowing Owl, and his partner Michelle have made a grand enterance with their own winery. Yummy, approachable wines that are excellent value.
